What is special about my counselling
The particularity of my work is to combine therapy, coaching and seminar methods so that you can free yourself from inner blocks and find good solutions.
You benefit from my many years of experience as a therapist, coach and facilitator. With me you get everything from one source. I am very flexible in helping you to solve personal and professional issues as well as problems in your couple or family. If necessary, you can also invite your partner or child into the practice to clarify a concern together. I also work with teenagers.

A goal-oriented psychotherapy
As a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, I can go into depth and untangle the knot of the problem. At the same time I am pragmatic and goal-oriented. You receive an appreciative attention from me and ideas to move forward.
Together we define the framework and goals of the psychotherapy. I explain the diagnosis to you and we regularly review the progress of the therapy.
During a psychotherapy with me you can relieve emotional suffering and free yourself from burdens of the past. If you feel overwhelmed, I help you to sort through and to untangle problems step by step. You can let go, or change what weighs you down.
You discover the treasures within yourself and become aware of your strengths and talents. Together we look for new ways and solutions. Practice makes perfect! That’s why I give you tools, exercises and methods that you can use in your everyday life.

Recovering from trauma at my own pace
After searching for a French-speaking therapist in Frankfurt, I stumbled upon Mrs. Engeler’s practice. After a first appointment where she explained to me how she works and where I could tell her about my concerns, I decided to start the therapy with her. Deciding to begin a therapy is a difficult choice, but I am very happy with it now. The pace of the sessions was decided together and always at my own pace. Over the course of the sessions, I was able to gradually free myself from certain family problems, especially from my mother’s hold on my life, and I was also able little by little to begin to let go of my extreme need to plan everything…
She never rushed me or forced me to move on when I couldn’t. It was always at my pace. The therapy allowed me to free myself from this trauma little by little, gently. Throughout the sessions, I always felt listened and at no time was I judged. This environment of trust is really important for me.
We used several methods during the therapy, which Mrs. Engeler always explained to me first, and it was really nice to be able to decide for myself if these methods were right for me or not. To symbolize all the weights accumulated in my childhood, we used during the therapy “little bags” full of sand, which was for me a very enriching and especially very revealing experience. Writing down my goals or seemingly insignificant events and seeing them “taking shape” on paper may seem unimportant, but it was a great help for me.
She also helped me with my study methods, as well as with the conflicts I had at work. And all this work done together has really made me feel much better in my everyday life and my entourage notices it too. I am much more cheerful and I also notice that I have stopped having the negative vision that I had for so long that it seemed normal.
My therapy has helped me tremendously to move forward, and even if it is not finished yet, I know that I am very well supported, by someone who respects his patients and makes sure to find the best therapy and the best methods to work on oneself. A therapy has a lot of impact on everyday life, that’s why I think it’s important to be listened to and advised in the best possible way, and all this in mutual respect. Trauma therapy: pain relief
I met Prisca during a very difficult phase of my life, in which I absolutely needed professional help. I got an appointment with Prisca very quickly and I was able to stabilize well during the therapy. My problem was very intimate, I could not talk about it with many people, and I am very grateful to Prisca for taking my problem seriously and also giving me the necessary understanding.
I had severe pain all over my body due to the trauma and Prisca showed me how to get rid of this pain with different methods. I suffered massively from the pain for several months. But her exercises helped me after only a few weeks of intensive use so that today I can lead an almost pain-free life again. I am incredibly grateful for her help. Trauma therapy: Understanding why I was refusing to become a mother
I first contacted Ms. Engeler for professional coaching but we very quickly worked on my personal history because I felt confident, non-judged and listened to with a lot of kindness and this happened naturally. Thanks to EMDR sessions by skype (I don’t live in Frankfurt), I discovered that I had a traumatic memory that was waking up and Mrs Engeler accompanied me in these difficult moments. She always let me be the one to decide what I wanted during asession: I sometimes needed to just talk and sometimes to find inner images…
She was always available for an appointment, even overnight, and I often needed that. I had done other therapies before that but I particularly liked her less formal or less distant approach that I missed with other practitioners. After I was able to understand and accept my past through therapy, it was psychologically possible for me to become a mother. Seven months after the first therapy appointment I became pregnant.
